Shooting Star Bike Trail
The Shooting Star Bike trail is approximately 15 miles long stretching from LeRoy through Taopi and now to Adams, MN! The paved bike trail wanders through Lake Louise State Park along the Upper Iowa River and through several woods. It then turns into open prairie and along some crop fields. This bike trail will definitely give you a variety of landscapes. Start your ride at the Trail Head located north-east of the high school football field. Lake Louise State Park
Lake Louise Park has a new spin on recreation this summer.  A fifteen-mile, multi-use, surfaced bike trail stretches from the City of Leroy, through the wooded and oak savanna areas of the park, to Adams.  In time, you will be able to bike from LeRoy to the Hormel Nature Center in Austin.

Perfect for bikers, rollerbladers and hikers, the new trail is featured on the 2003 annual state park permit.
